A five week postnatal yoga and baby massage course, learning movement to rebuild connection to the body post birth, and baby massage to bond with your baby and support their development.
This course splits time between postnatal yoga, baby massage and groups discussions, to provide holistic support to new parents. In the postnatal yoga session we will look at rebuilding strength in pelvic floor and abdominals, moving with integrity while lifting and carrying, and creating space and ease in the upper back and shoulders. Each week we will learn a new area of baby massage (legs, tummy, back etc) and build up a full body routine over the course. There’s space to talk and share experiences in each class.
Rosie is a yoga and infant massage instructor who wants to help people deepen their connection with their bodies and babies. She aims to create community through her classes so that new parents have the support network to help them navigate this new stage of life.
This class is suitable from 6 weeks to crawling. Students are asked to bring their own mat and blanket for baby. Space is limited to 8 participants.
